I had my brachioplasty last Thursday & go today to have stitches out...hoorah!! I am so happy already with the results...and will get my husband to take some "in process of healing" photos to post with before photos soon.  My arms are  already @ least 4" smaller than before surgery....and look "normal"!!!  Just wanted to share my excitement! :-)

Congrats!  Luckily, the stitches in my arm are internal and dissolvable so I don't have to go through the removal process.  He used some type of glue to hold it all together and it just peels off after a while.

I'm very pleased with my arms as well, I'm just about 3 weeks out and still a littl swollen but I have already noticed a huge difference in how my tops fit.  I love it!

Congrats on getting your sutures out today! I'm one week 1 day out from my brachio. I also have internal dissolvable sutures and glue that peels off. I can't believe how much I love my new arms! There sure are gonna be a lot of sexy arms this summer!

This is probably a silly question....but when you have the dissolvable stitches, how long are they in until they dissolve?  Is it a week?  Or longer?

Thanks everyone for your congratulations! :-) I was a little confused...I didn't get stitches out today, but did have the steri strips replaced & was re-wrapped....most of my stitches, I discovered, are the dissolvable type also....I must've been on pain med when I heard the nurse explaining things last week!  Anyway, they are pleased with how my arms are doing, and I couldn't be happier....definitely worth the pain & money....
