RANT! RANT! WOW PS Costs!

I went for my very first consultation last week for BA/BL and a LBL.
I thought I had a pretty good idea of just how much the BA/BL would cost.
A close friend of mine just had hers done 6 months ago in this same town.
Her Total Cost was $6200 for her high profile BA and BL with tissue removed
from underneath her breast.
The drs office gave me an itemized statement for a doughnut hole breast lift and BA,
high profile saline implants $8200 if I decide on gel implants they're another 1000$.
 
The LBL which would be having to remove hysterectomy scar from navel to pubic bone, is $10,100.
I can understand the LBL being that expensive was actually thinking it would be more like 12,000.  was surprised at price quote for BA/BL.

Going to keep doing my research but unless my DH objects
I'll probably be out of country bound for plastics.

Are these prices the norm now?

I'm paying $12k for my LBL. That's including hospital stay, OR and Anesthesia.

Last year I paid $9k for a TT and BA with saline, no lift. But the TT wasn't very good and i'm having to get it done again (with a different PS). So be careful, you might just get what you pay for.

I'm paying $7500 for an extended TT, BL/BA. Includes everything.
