Introduction
Hi everyone.
I've been a member of OH since when I had my RNY back in 2001. I don't know if I ever posted but I sure did read a lot and found so much valuable information.
Well, finally I am at my goal weight. I took a slight detour about 3 years after surgery and regained about 30 lbs. Had my primary doctor get my head on straight and between the RNY and WW, I lost the remaining weight (total of 190 lbs).
So why am I here now? I'm scheduled for plastic surgery in less than 2 months. And although I've had two other surgeries (TAH and ACL replacement) since the RNY, the plastic surgery has me a little nervous. I am excited - more excited than I am nervous - but I just wanted to spend some time here reading and getting a better understanding of what to expect.
Here's what I'm having done:
May 28th: Circumferential body lift with gluteal augmentation and brachioplasty & thoracoplasty
June 25th: Bilateral breast augmentation with mastopexy and medial thigh lift
Any advice is greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I will read what's already been posted. I just wanted to introduce myself.

Hi Lisa,
Welcome to the Plastics forum.
Congrats on your weight loss and your upcoming surgeries. You'll be so glad when you've had them done.
It's normal to be excited and nervous at the same time....happens to me with each procedure....happens to everyone.
I have lots of stuff posted on my profile blog detailing my experience with each procedure. Of course everyone is different and even for each individual recovery various with each procedure (some easier than others)...but I try to capture all the details so others know what might happen.
Feel free to read the blogs....you might have to be a friend to see them, I'm not sure...if so just send a friend a request if you want to.
Best wishes on your journey....it's a wild ride so buckle up and hang on.......

Welcome Lisa,
Congrats on your amazing weight loss! I just had my first plastic surgery a week ago (lower body lift and arm lift) so I was having the same feelings you are now not too long ago myself. It is an exciting and scary adventure. This forum has been a godsend to me as I'm sure it will be to you. The people on here are so gererous with their advice, knowledge, encouragement and friendship. I have posted, on my profile, my pre and post op pictures if you are interested in seeing them. You have to be my friend to see them so just request and I will add you. I'm excited and happy for you. God bless.
