Question about what can be done?

I had RNY 13 months ago and have reached my Dr.s goal weight. (lost 157 pounds)  She has referred me for plastics and I have a consult in May.  My question is what can be done at one time.  I want a breast lift, tummy tuck and something done with my thighs.  Can this all be done at once?  What is the recovery time?  Any information would be appreciated.

Wow, congrats on your weight loss.

It's all going to depend on the doctor and how long it takes to do each procedure. I had the TT and BA at the same time and I think it took about 5 hours. Most of them want to get finished by 5 hours - a few will pu**** out to 8 hours max. Are you talking about outer or inner thigh?

My inner thighs are the worst.  I can deal with the rest.  If I had to make a choice... I would do a TT and thigh lift.  Not sure what they offer in my state as it is fairly rural.  I am not sure if I can get more time off work so I am hoping to do all I can in one sitting per say.  I am hoping to only take four weeks off work???? Do these procedures require a hospital stay.  I am paying out of pocket since i know my insurance will not cover anything.

Hi
Congrats on your weight loss!!!

What can be done really depends on your body and what your surgeon is comfortable with combining.   It also depends on the areas because you have to be careful about cutting off too much blood flow.
It's very typical to have a TT and BL at the same time........ I had it done that way. but I did not do my inner thighs at the same time because it would have been too much cutting off blood flow between the lowest TT incision and the groin.

ANYHOW.....that was a long way for me to say, It depends.  LOL
You and your surgeon can work out the best and SAFEST combination for you.
Best wishes on your journey.
