Funny and True Story! Only Me!!!

So in the mornings Im very nice and flat and tiny and by about an hour in the swell hell begins. By the end of the day I have had to change clothes up 2 sizes to accomodate my belly.
My daughter came home from school yesterday - took one look at my belly and her eyes LIT up. This kid looked like a firecracker running towards me (she is 6 btw) and she hurridly and gently pats my belly and says," Mama, I KNOW there is a baby in there!!!"
I told her that it was swelling and definatly NO baby.
"But Mama, I KNOW IT!!! You were small this morning and now you have a big baby in your belly!!!!"

This kid wants a sibling something terrible - sometimes I feel guilty that I couldn't give her one - but she really was delighted that I might have been carrying a bro or sis.
Out of the mouth of babes....

On another note - did my first lymphatic massage today - not too shabby. I should definatly take a tylenol before though. I had to go poo midway through it - guess all that rubbing got me going. Wish I had known that's all it took - maybe I wouldn't have ended up with a fist up my bum last friday....

I went to kohls and added a Flexee's stomacher since my binder just got loose over the last 3 days and I dont want to spend a fortune. Hopefully this will squeeze just enough to get things moving more!

Poo'ing post surgery is a scary thing - FOR EVERYONE - but you gotta do it. Stool softeners will be your friend - TRUST ME!

And if you get nauseated at all - ask surgeon for some meds - cause that was part of the problem. I didn't feel hungry/thirsty and I wasn't pooing. Dehydration = fist in the butt.

Stool softeners are your friends! Poo'ing post surgery reminds me a lot of giving birth! Even some of the noisesand faces I make are the same. LOL!

Did I mention that my hubby FILMED the first post-enema efforts. No no no - you can't see anything but me sitting there making the most RIDICULOUS faces and randomly HOLLERING and panting. At the end of the little video (which he did with his phone - I thought he was texting) I say something to the effect of, "Thank God I didn't have babies naturally - I would never be able to do it!"

My hubby = goofy man...........but the video is freaking hilarious now that I am moving well and can look back without sheer panic!

My "funnyness" is all about how you choose to look at things in life. When the "****" starts flying (or in my case, wont get the hell out) you just gotta take it from a different angle of perspective.

Life is absolutley laughable when you look back. The things we worry ourselves about, the things we do thinking they will cause an outcome when they logically could never have POSSIBLY done so (attempted flying with umbrellas by jumping off the back of a pickup truck anyone????).

LMFAO, I also love your posts, thanks  : )

I saw my PS today, and he took out 110cc of fluid from my left breast, WHAT a relief, somewhat like your recent dilemma, sans fist.

Looking forward to your next post : )

That story is too cute!  She really wants a baby brother or sister really bad doesn't she?

Here is the link that describes the shapewear I use. It's got the one I showed you yesterday.

I think I'm going to go and get me the Flexees ultimate slimmer torsette body briefer.  I'm going to go and try it on and see if it provides more compression all around.  I might move into this one after I'm done with the fully body compression garment.  I'll let you know how it works out.

Isn't it great?   I really do love it for the compression and shape it provides.  I don't go out in public with out it either!  It's the best thing that I have found that works best for my body shape.  Sometimes I just roll the straps off my shoulders and just sleep with it. I HATE the spillover roll that comes out of the top with all the high waisted type shapeware.  Its more a combination of extra skin and a little fat back there and it drives me crazy!  That's the only time I wish I had done the whole upper body lift to remove that but I just wasn't ready to deal with the scar, KWIM?  I'm gonna have to get me a smaller size too.  I've had mine for at least 8 months and it may have even lost some of it's elasticity.  I can tell the difference in the 2 that I do have because one is older than the other which is why I say that.  I was gonna try the full body torsette and see how it feels.  It doesn't have the closure in the front like the shorter one but rather in the crotch.  I've never been a big fan of those but maybe that I'm not fat anymore it won't be so bad.  I would only use that for work I'm sure.  I'm hoping to have some back lipo later this year so I think it would be great for that as well.  The tighter the better.  To be honest, I can't wait to be free of all of my garments!

This is the one I'm thinking about:
