Lipoabdominoplasty
I went in for my pre-op appt today for my tummy tuck and my doctor suggested that I have a lipoabdominoplasty instead. He said it is a newer procedure with less recovery time, smaller scar, less complications, less drain time, etc. It almost sounds too good to be true. Has anyone had this procedure or heard of it? It made me kind of excited that maybe this won't be so bad after all!!?? Thanks!
Here's some more information on that procedure (with pics):

I want to have tummy tuck. I am 25 and slightly overweight(fat on my tummy). Is a full abdominoplasty right for me?
I am home from my lipoadominoplasty! The surgery went well, and I am feeling pretty good. I have 2 drains which should come out in about 3 days, which is good! They are gross! Since I have nothing to compare it to, I think is is going pretty well. I hope I don't jinx myself by saying that, but the only time I am really uncomfortable is right at the 4 hour point of my pain killers starting to wear off. As soon as I take them, I feel a lot better. I am hoping I feel good enough to take just tylenol by the time I run out! I have some swelling on my saddlebag area and some bruising. I had my post op appt today and saw my stomach for the first time and almost cried! It looks soooo great! My doc did say my belly button was red, but the assistant says she thinks it is marker from markering me...I hope so bad it doesn't turn into anything awful...I have read horror stories so that has me freaked out a little. Does anyone have any info to calm me about that? Other than that, I am doing good. Just wanted to let you all know, I love this website and haven't posted much but visit every day and keep up with you all and your great new bods!!!
