Thanks Skylar,
I love the placement of my arm incisions and the way my arms are looking so far. Dr. Mazaheri is a genius! I HATE my drains! They pull and tug, are sore and a pain to have to deal with, I will be really happy when they are out. I am swelling and bloated due to gas and/or constipation. My surgeon doesn't have you wear a garment or binder until the incisions have a a chance to start healing well. Pain is not too bad, The only area that really bothers me is the incision on my rear since I'm on it so much. That and the gas pain have been the worst. Thep Ian is managable, but I will be happy to see it go. That's for sure!

Happy Easter!

Thanks txAngela,
The swelling definately sucks! But combined with the bloating and gas it's HELL! I just am hoping to feel better tomorrow. All of it had me a little down this morning, even questioning if this was worth it. My husband is a wonderful man, he comforted me and gave me perspective. After his pep talk a slept a little and felt better. I am blessed!

I got the gas today on a drive home. SUPER PAINFUL. And it wouldn't go low enough to pass. My daughter kept talking to me while I was trying to "breathe" through it and I snapped at her. I finally explained to her when they passed that Mommy just can't handle any other stimuli like noise or touching when Im hurting.
Even when I had my Butt Dig Out 2010 on Friday - the nurse tried to pat my leg, or rub it or something and I snapped at her that if I could move my leg I would KICK her. I felt terrible for saying that - because it's out of character for me and I appologized later - but when Im in pain - I just CAN'T deal with any more senses!

Gas-X strip and Miralax are my best friends now. I take miralax in the morning and gas-x at night!

You are looking great! The swelling is just a normal part of healing. Hopefully the bloaty feeling will go away soon!

Hi Sandi,

I have NO doubts that your final results are going to be phenomenal!!!  Everything looks very good right now - as surgery goes.  Your incisions are very thin.  Your belly button looks awesome!  I can't wait to see you 2, 3, 4 months from now!  Wow!  Awesome!
