I woke up from surgery with the garments on they are both x large, I guess it just what my PS uses, he even gave me an extra set so they can be washed.  They are Marena Garments, I know they have a website you could go to.  When is your surgery scheduled.

Hi Jody ~
My surgery is May 25th, TT, BA & arm lift. My PS provides me with 1 set of garments - so once I start feeling a little better I think I'dd order an extra set - plus I'll need a stage 2 also.

I am still wearing mine and I'm over 4 months out.  IF I don't the swelling is out of control and I'm very uncomfortable.  My brachio garment is my favorite and I wear it 24/7 - about 23.5 hours a day.  The TT garment I do remove at night and started removing it at night when I was 6 weeks post op.  You need to wear it as long as 6 weeks so that your healing is better.  I remember waking up after it's rolled down and I couldn't breathe.  I have a port from my lapband and it would press against it and into my ribs.  I learned that I had to pull that baby up as far as I could and then sleep in a certain position.  The compression garment is an important part of our healing process.  Spanx and Flexees don't really give enough compression to be helpful.  They work great after your initial 6 weeks,  however.

12/09 and 6/11, 9 skin removal procedures with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico
Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.

AMEN sister....
So glad to see someone else singing the praise of compression garments...I'm starting feel like a CG kook but I believe they are important and really do help improve the final results.

Congrats on your surgery!  I wore the iron maiden as my PS called it for about 3 weeks until he told me I could switch to bike shorts, control top panty hose. One of the things that I found I really liked was the UnderArmor compression items.  I had upper arm and upper thigh lipo and the underarmor gave great support for those. For the arms, it was better than the sleeves provided by the surgeon. For this to work, it needs to be the Compression UnderArmor, not the regular stuff.  It also worked better when going out in public :)
Good Luck!
