Should I do Breast Lift and Implants at the same time??
I have had several plastic surgery consults on the several different procedures that I have to have done and on all of the previous ones they have told me that I could not have my breast lift and implants done at the same time.
However, I went to a consult on this past Thursday that exceeded my expectations, I LUV THE STAFF!!! And to my surprise they suggested that they could do my LBL, BL, Implants and Buttock aug all at the same time. WOW!! I however stuck on the past recommendations chose to have the implants done at a later time when I go back to get my arms done.
I would love to have the implants done at the same time as the lift....Any advice/suggestions/experiences.
All is appreciated, Thanks
I think this is one area where there it is just simply not carved in stone and you will want to factor in the experience and reputation of the surgeon.

The surgeon I ended up with was referred to me by my WLS doctor. I am glad I went with this doctor. During the consult visit he explained to me the reason for the lift and implants at the same time. My chest was very flat and there was nothing there but two long airless tube socks, he knew I would not be happy with just a lift because I expressed this to him.
Do what you think is best for you, if a doctor does not want to give you what you want then go elsewhere.
Good luck with your decision.

Each doctor has their own opinion, and you should go with the one you feel most comfortable with. Mine gave me enough reasons with what he knew he would be doing during the first surgery to convince me to split them up.....
Good luck!

Hi everyone!!
Thanks for all of your opinions, I value them dearly. I think that I will give this a little more thought, plus consult with my surgeon and his staff to see what the outcome or best decision should be.
I'm kind of leaning towards waiting since I am going to be doing 2 surgeries no matter what and since I've been dealing with them (saggy bag's of flour, breasts) a few more months won't hurt. That way I can (after healing from the lift) see if I would need to tighten up a little more while getting the implants since I only want to be a full C.
So thanks again everyone for your help and I will keep you posted on my journey.
P.S. Has anyone heard from "purpletab"? Just wanted to see how she was progressing and feeling during her post op.
Thanks Marie
