Hello all, thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement.  I got my date today for my panni removal.  I was wondering what you all think that I need to take with me that is a definite.  I know that I have some time, but I am limited on funds and want to make sure that I can get whatever needs purchased in plenty of time.  What do you all recommend I take to the hospital?  What should I have when I get home?  My kids are going to be my nurses.  (I just love them, and they are so excited).  I am excited myself.  I know that it will be here soon enough.  Thank you in advance for all of your input.

The beauty of a woman is not seen through what she wears. It is seen through how she carries herself and the way she doesn’t allow herself to settle. Don’t ever let anyone take for granted the beauty that is within you. Stand firm and know that you’re a wonderful person. Always remember your value and respect yourself. I’m so blessed to have you in my life.  Sometimes we all need to be reminded how special we really are!

I got my date today too for April 14th with my first surgeon (out of network) doctor. I already went to a IN NETWORK surgeon on Friday is they are ready to turn in my paperwork to ins.
ONLY thing is that its not covering the OR and the cost is out of my coverage. Whaaaaa!
I was wondering if the approval can chg to a different doctor? HELPPPPPP!!!! PLEASE!

When I had my TT -- I was in the hospital a week.  But the hospital provided everything I needed.  So I would not worry so much about what to take.  I have read lists of things to take --but beyond basic toiletries I would not worry about it.  The pain meds would have prevented me from concentrating on a book.  As to what to have at home -- here again I did not have anything special waiting for me at home.  I was pretty self sufficient when I got home.

Hi! Congrats to you!!! I just got my approval too.. I have to wait until June 18th though.
I was interested to hear the replies as well. I'm thinking a robe, extra undies, loose fitting pants to go home in?? I'm sure your surgeon will help you with that at your pre op appt.. I'd like to know what to have on hand at home as well. Extra gauze, etc...
Good luck to you!
