Numbness question

I am a long way form getting plastics but will most likely need a TT, breast lift, and implants...  I was wondering how much numbness you had in your body and how long it lasted... Most importantly after the breast lift and implants were you still able to feel sensations in your nipples?  Thanks :)

Well I had all of those BL- LBL and TT and BA and I still have numbness in my backside, hips all over stomach area I was told could last up to a year. BTW it has been 4 months for me.
As far as the nipples still don't have the sensation that I use to have and want it back and praying it comes back as that too is a side affect that can happen it has definately gotten better with time but still not 100% infact one nipple is still senstive and sore and hurts to touch it even the water in the shower hitting it is painful so I am hopeful for the best but was willing to go for it for the trade off and so far it has been worth it.

Thank you for the response....  I am quite a way away from getting surgery but have always been concerned about the nipple thing... :)   I am hoping to have WLS near the end of May... 

 I had LBL on November 2nd.  I'm still numb.  I was told it could last up to a year.

I had skin removal in Dec. 2008 and I still have numbness in my stomach. I just had to get used to it. It is not as bad as in the being.

i didn't lose any sensation in my nipples from the breast lift and auto augmentation.  From my LBL, I have numbness in my belly, hips and outer thigh area.  It is most likely permanent in those areas.  From the medial thigh lift, I have some odd areas of numbmess in the groin crease area and upper, inner thigh, as well as hypersensitivity in the inner knee area where I developed a MRSA infection.  From my arm lift, there are areas in the upper, back area on my arm that are numb - no sensation of pressure or anything, but cross the incision line, and it feels fine.  One arm - the right- is hypersensitive near the elbow.

It can really vary from person to person depending on how you heal and how your tissues are disrupted.

I had a LBL on Sept 25. I am still quite numb where the vertical and horizontal incisions met and where I required a small revision, but a lot of my feeling has returned elsewhere.

I had tummy tuck, lift and lipo not aug.
I have tons of numbness in my belly at 3wks out. Boobs I can feel - nipples only the right one has a lot of sensation right now - and I would refer to it as heightened. The left is still numb.
