breast lift and implants....one more swollen than the other...
I am in my 4th week after BL and BA surgery. My right has been a little swollen at the top for a couple weeks or so. I sent pics to the dr and he said it is normal (and I do know that there is lots of shifting and swelling and stuff to happen still). But I woke up this morning and it seems it is even more swollen. It is at the top, almost center. Maybe it seems the left has dropped in place and the right hasn't yet? Anyone with any ideas on this? I go back for follow up Monday.
My doc told me that each breast is like a separate organ, and will heal completely separately. I know its also possible for one to heal and drop appropriately, and the other to get scar tissue and need repair (not that that's your problem). It just interested me that they can be so different yet right next together.
Oh, I would imagine that in only the 4th week, its not scar tissue or anything scary like that.....
Instead, you probably lifted something with your arm on that side or pushed/pulled on something and just have extra swelling......
Tomorrow makes 3 weeks for me, so I'm still trying to figure all this out myself.....

I had a bl/ba seven months ago. My upper chest remained swollen for the first 4 months. I use to complain that it looked like I had pecks instead of breasts. They will settle into place eventually, in the beginning they take on different shapes and sizes.
Four weeks ago I had a revision done to my breast (he wanted my nipples to be more centered). I kid you not, after the revision my breast looks the way I pictured them looking. The swelling that was in my upper chest area deflated and now my chest finally look like it belong on my body.
Hang in there and don't think the worse, it's probably nothing (that's what I'm praying).
