Revision in Office Using Lipo

Hello everyone!

I am 3.5 weeks post-op with my abdominoplasty and I am healng quite well. I have a spot above my belly button that is a bit "fluffy" and my surgeon agreed it may be a problem. He wants to wait another month and then make a decision if a revision needs to be done in his office.

Has anyone had lipo done in the office? What was it like? I have seen video of lipo being done in surgery and it looked pretty rough... I'm sure since the area that needs to be done is small it won't be that bad for me but I am curious about the office experience. Was it painful? How was the recovery?

Thanks so much for the info... you guys are wonderful!  ~Marci

I'll probably be having some lipo done in about 2 or 3 months in my dr's office. Can't really speak to the pain when you're awake since I've only had it done during surgery. From what I've heard it depends on the lipo location, type of lipo and your pain tolerance. Also, there is a limit to how much they can do in their office. It's less than what they can do as an outpatient.
