With all my incisions I have never had one that is tick and "robey"....until now....I have 2 areas that are real bumpy/robey. I am hoping this is flatten out.....Has anyone had a scar that was robey, did smooth out/flatten out?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Skylar,
This is a bit more than a "raised scar"......I've used the silicone strips on raised scars and had TERRIFIC results.
I hope to see the surgeon tomorrow and I'll ask him......the nurse told me today she thinks it will flatten out but could be wider than the other areas. I'm sure my surgeon will have a good solution.
Thanks for the suggestion.......it reminded me I have to buy some more strips for my inner thighs.
And yes, you can't put the silicon on untill after the steri-strips are off and the incision is basically healed (for me it's usually around week 3 or 4).
Have a good night!
