Ruth, So happy you are doing so well! It's encouraging to me since I will be headed for surgery in the am. I will be for sure be using your 2 pillow trick to try to keep the swelling down in my arms and hands. Thank you for posting your post-op journey. It's helpful for those of us about to go through it. May I be added as your friend so I can see your pics. My 2nd surgery will be total thigh lift. Thank you and God bless you.

Hi Sandi,
I'll be thinking of you.
Best wishes on your surgery.

FYI - The 2 pillow thing has really made a big difference for me so give it a try.
Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Hi Ruth, I'm amazed at how good you look, especially the legs. What a transformation. You must be so pleased with the changes.

hello ruth!

thank you for you post.

where can i view your inner thigh pics?

i had gbypass 1/06 and plastics 12/06 (tt/arms and breast).

really wish i had done the inner thigh in 12/06.  i can't seem to find the time to take off.  approximately how much time did would you have required if you had done the inner thigh only.  i know everyone is different but it's nice to get a few opinions.  also, will i need assistance if i do the inner thigh only.

thank you again

Hi!
To see my pics you need to send me a "friends request".

The inner thighs have been much less painful and much less of problem than I had anticipated.
I would say you definitely need help the day of surgery and the next day but after that I was managing to get in and out of bed on my own and to the bathroom on my own.  On day 4 or 5 I swept the kitchen and family room floors....I'd be able to vacuum the house but I don't want to pu**** with the arms yet.  Other than the swelling and based on how I am doing and feeling at the 1 week mark I'd say I'd probably be fine to go back to work (desk job) after 2 weeks.

As you said everyone is different but for me this is not too bad.  The swelling stinks but it's expected.

Best wishes if you decide to do the inner thighs!
