Your pics looked great!!!  You must be so thrilled.  I was shocked to see where your scar was for the arm lift.  Mine runs on the inside of my arms and yours is on the bottom.  I guess I didn't think that other ps's cut in different ways.

Thanks!  Yes drs do cut different ways.  Most do the same cuts, but I have seen some on here that would amaze you.  That's why it is SO important to even tell your surgeon where you want it located.  I know we all assume they will put it in the right place, but even 1 inch makes a difference.

I can relate on so many levels. I had lost 108 lbs when I was about 26 but gained it all back and more. It is weird to think of yourself as small or thin. It does take a while for your head to catch up with your body. I'm a couple of days away from my first PS and I can't even imagine what it will be like without this skin. I can't even kind of form a mental picture. It's surreal. It's wonderful and so helpful to see everyone's before and after pictures and read their posts. I love this message board and I thank God for the people on it. I have learned so much, had so many questions answered and have found comfort in knowing that I'm not alone in my experiences.

I will be going for a thigh lift and breast lift on 6/1. Tues is my LBL/brachio. I'm excited and nervous. I look forward to being able to post my before and after pictures and to offer advice and share my PS experience. Thank you all for sharing yours.

Your welcome Sandi!  I love this board too.  I think the folks on here know me on a more personal level than my family.  No one can relate to how I feel or understand what it's like.  That's why I say they probably think I'm obsessed.  Well, maybe just a little!  LOL  PS has a way of doing that.  As soon as one area gets fixed, then everything else looks bad.

I remember pulling and tugging on my belly trying to get an image of what it will look like.  Never could for the life of me!  All I had was the images of people I saw on here and other websites.  You will be amazed with how everything will look after your surgery.

I'll be thinking of you Tuesday!

I laughed when I read your comment about pulling on your belly. I keep doing that trying to get a glimpse of what it may be like, but to no avail!! It's surreal and crazy to think of having a flat stomach. I just can't imagine! I love seeing others pics because it's a little glimpse of what is possible for myself. It offers so much hope.
I too was worried about what people would think of me spending all of this money (that I don't have) to have PS. I think there are people who think it is unnecessary and selfish of me. They wonder why I can't "just be happy being thinner". They just don't understand! You work so hard to lose the weight only to have a whole new set of issues. Unless you have been through it, you just don't understand. I am a new person inside and out and I no longer am living my life to please others. I'm doing this for me and me alone! I am so blessed though. My husband and sons are SO supportive. They are behind me all the way. Anytime I would start to think that it was selfish and I shouldn't do it, they were right there telling me that it was the right thing and I deserve to have this for myself. I agree. I want this for myself and I have worked hard. Now I just have to be patient to see the final outcome. Easier said then done.
May I be added as your friend. I would like to see your pics and I will be adding my before pics today which will be for friends only as well.
Thanks for your encouragement and support! God bless you.
