I believe most surgeons do include it as part of the tummy tuck ...it is probably safe to assume it will be done but you should ask to be sure.

Yep, ask to be sure.  Also be sure to talk about any fat that is still remaining there.  Mine was lifted, and he wanted to avoid any lipo during that procedure because of how bad the swelling accumulates in that one particular spot after lipo.  Well a year later, I had a pooch in that vicinity that showed thru a straight knit skirt when I looked in the mirror from the side....I was appalled!  And then self conscious.  So, during my recent surgery where a bunch of lipo was done, I ensured he fixed the rest of that area, and any swelling wouldn't be any worse than the reality I was living in, even if it takes a year for the swelling to go away.
