My Post Op with Dr. Lo - Drains OUT!!!!!!

Today is a good day guys! Im loving no drains -and laying flatter has made a MAJOR improvement on my swelling!:)
Also - today I feel there are wee people in my bra stabbing my nipples - but they disappear as soon as I look around in there! Haha! Im guessing my nerves are going nuts in there. But at least I know that means things are healing.
BTW - it's either the swelling around my girly bits- or the way the binder opening squeezes down there - but I notice that when I pee its like one of those fun sprinklers that have 3 holes that kinda spray all over the place....weird...... my body never ceases to come up with new and amusing tricks does it!?

can you add me as a friend.  i'm a dr. s patient and spend time between this board and that one.  so glad drains are out.  i pulled my last one out myself, the other 4 were removed in monterrey.  it was fine, but was about a foot long . . .

That is great about your drains, I am sure it is a relief! That was actually the worst part of my post-WLS care, there was a problem removing my one drain and it has me a little nervous for PS. However that certainly isn't enough to stop me. I am in the process of research and setting up consultations now, mostly local (Austin area) but having seen numerous good things about Dr. Lo I have been in contact with his office as well, and your comments just solidify that I need to go meet with him too. I did send a question on his website and responded to me himself that night and again the next day along with one of his staff!

Yes - he does respond personally - he and his staff also give personal cell phone numbers to you post-surgery for emergencies or even just questions!

They had the computers go out in the office during an electrical storm before my surgery. So I got a call from one of the staff at home around 8pm because they are THAT dedicated to answering our questions!

My husband works offshore and I only had a certain and very small window I could get surgery in and have him home to help. They were fairly booked out but they MADE it happen.

I could go on and on - haha - but if you look around here on the boards - Dr. Lo is on here too and will often post new research articles or answer questions himself. Granted it's not a daily occurance as he does work very hard and is busy - but you really will see that extra mile that he goes to for EVERY patient!:)

Dr. Lo sure does good work. Your pictures look amazing! You must be so happy! Thanks for sharing.
