My Post Op with Dr. Lo - Drains OUT!!!!!!

Great news about the drains- that must feel so good!

Hey- I'm coming from over 4 hours away (one way) to have my surgery with Dr. Lo, so that shows how much I believe in him, too!

What a great experience and it's clear from your photos that Dr. Lo does beautiful work.

YIPPY SKIPPY!! I am so glad to hear that the drains are not that long.

OFF TOPIC HERE: My DH had his prostate removed (cancer) and had a drain. When we went in for the follow up visit - the surgeon said "looks good - lets pull it out" - He clipped the stitch then pulled - WAY up over his head - grabbed more & pulled again!! It was about 36 inches long & hubby felt is coming out from deep inside!!

Glad to know our PS drains are much shorter.
I am so happy the depression is ending. I'll bet there's a name of that - Like Drain Depression!!

Yeah my mother had surgery with Straka in Humble,Texas and said her drains were long like that. EEWWW.. Im so glad mine weren't.
And the burning sensation on that left side is nearly gone now!:)

I'm with you EB...I tell EVERYONE how amazing Dr. Lo is!! I can't help it. When you are so thrilled with something or someone you HAVE to share it!! I've already referred SEVERAL friends and relatives to him...but not just because of what I say, it's also because of the AMAZING results that they all SEE on me!! It's like we are walking billboards for him! So it's truly his work that speaks for itself...and then of course I add my loud mouth to it as well! LOL!

 Congratulations on your surgery.  Could you please add me as your friend so that I may look at your pictures.  I had the VSG 18 months ago and have lost 95 pounds.  I am pursuing information about plastics and am impressed with your comments about your surgeon.  I live about an hour from Houston and would be love to see your results.  Thank you very much.

Congrats on your drain removal! I love to read your posts! They are so colorful and honest. I'm scheduled for my LBL/Brachio on March 30th. I live in Phoenix so I'm not using Dr. L but I love my surgeon, Dr. Mazaheri and his staff. It's so comforting when they REALLY care about you and your concerns. I'm so happy for you and I appreciate you and others posting your journeys because it really helps those of us who are about to go through it. I've never had plastics before and the unknown is so scary. It's a comfort to have you all here. I love to be able to read the reality of it all, the good, the bad and the ugly. But especially the good!. May I be added as your friend, I would love to see your results. God bless you and take care.
