Needing brachio/AL badly

I knew my arms were bad but I was taking pics today to document my WLS jounrye (which I periodically do) and it hit me over the head how HORRIBLE my arms are. Was anyone's arms this bad before an AL? Do you think they're fixable? I haven't gone on a consult yet (because I'm scared the surgeon will tell me they're too bad to fix). I researched cost and it should be roughly like $4500-$5k, which isn't too bad but still more than I have now. I'm in a normal weight range now, but plan on trying to lose 15-27 lbs more if I can. I need some time anyway to save up the $ so I won't be able to get this done til at least later on this year.

they look at lot like mine did maybe not even as bad and I am one week out of an arm lift.  they will do it.   Its really the only way those arms will go back to looking somewhat normal.

I know how you feel, and that you want to get your arms done.  They will be beautiful when you get them done. 

But to make you feel better about YOUR arms, mine measured 27" around on the left side, and 25" around on the right side.  Feel a little bit better now???  :)  If my arms looked like your, I may not have had them done.  So far I've had two surgeries on them - the orginal and a revision.  I know that in the end, when all is said and done, I'll be happy with them.

My arms were way worse than yours.  I am 4 months out from my arm lift now.  I am not completely happy with the results, but they are much better than they were!

Yours are definately not as bad as mine.  I plan on getting mine done sometime later this year, and the doctors I've seen have no problem about them being large.  You'll do fine!
