Is this really possible?

I had a revision to my tt and ba almost 4 weeks ago along with back liposuction.  Two weeks after surgery my scale showed a 6 pound weight loss, this week the scale is showing a 6 pound gain.  Is it possible I gained six pounds in two weeks (eating habits are the same) or could I still be swollen?

Have anyone experienced swelling 4 weeks post op from liposuction?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably just swelling.
Swelling is most common and often worse with Lipo (sorry for that bad news).

Don't worry about the scale right now.....just stay on track with your food and things will level off eventually....could take a few more weeks but it does level off.

Hi Ruth.  Thanks for responding and settling my nerves. I've been working out like crazy trying to get the scale to move backwards (silly me), now that I know it's probably swelling I can rest a little easier.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery.

Oh yes, you still have swelling. The swelling can last for months. Most Drs say about 6 months for lipo before you even see the final results. Hang in there!

Thanks for responding, I feel much better knowing it's probably the swelling that's making me and the scale go crazy.

I've given up on the scale, it varies so much with the swelling. It is so weird, because things fit better, I look better, but the swelling makes me feel "puffy"! I love the look of my tummy, but my thighs where I had lipo still hurt and are definately bigger than before...surgeon assures me this is swelling...I'm 4 months out, and had a LBL ,TT, lipo to outer hips, thighs, back.
