Arm lift compression garments question

So far I've been wearing ace bandages on my arms for compression.  I will be going back to work soon and those wraps won't fit in under my work clothes plus I don't want anyone to see them.  I have one set of arm compression sleeves but they are way too small.  My question is what type of sleeve worked best for you.  They make them at different lengths and I was thinking of getting the one that goes to the elbow so I can at least wear 3/4 sleeve tops.  I don't plan on wearing short sleeves until I heal some more and get to a point where I am comfortable to wear them.

Thanks for your help!

Are you wearing them now?  I'll be wearing them for a while too but I'm not sure which one I should buy.  I don't think I want the long sleeve ones even though that would probably better.  I tried to put my watch on yesterday and it was tight so there is some swelling.

i came home with the ace bandage and the bolero style garment.  He unwrapped everything yesterday to check my incisions then rewrapped me.  I had to wash the arm garment so now I'm just waiting on it to dry.  All he did to my back and leg was wrap them in the ace bandages.  The comprssion garment they tried use in the operating room was too small and they just gave me anothe one yesterday.  Still trying to get the courage to try and put that on again.

I'm wearing the marena comfortwear.  It's 3/4 length sleeve and goes across the back.  sometimes it shows if the back rides up but I can usually re-adjust it.  It's very comfortable.

I was told by my surgeon to get the full length ones otherwise the lower arms and hands get very swollen....BUT, if you are going to start using them after a few weeks then you might be able to use the shorter ones.
I just got my new pair set of sleeves and they come to just above my wrists.

I had my arm lift done last wed march 17th and this is the garment my dr put on me the day after and will have me wear it 24/7 for at least 4 weeks.

I did get swelling in my hands and lower arms but that was to be expected and has significantý gone down... my hands are normal now in a week....

I had a pair from Marena and a long pair that fit on each arm indiviually.  Ruth is right in that the elbow length ones caused more swelling in my lower arm, wrist and hand.  It was awful.  My orginal surgeon then had me go to our local office here and order the ones that they use for patients with lymphatic problems.  Those just come up like long sleeved gloves without the "hand" covering.  They were very tight, but got the job done.  The ace bandages did not work under my clothing - even with jackets...

My surgeon's compression garments come from contourmd.com.  I got one of each of these garments last week when I had my brachio/bl/ba:

Both are 3/4 length.
Good luck,
