I'm not freaking out about the surgery on Thursday....I'm freaking out because I left too many things to the last minute and now I'm feeling the pressure to get it all done.
I'm usually much more organized!
If I wasn't trying to put mulch down all around the house/gardens it wouldn't be so bad but if I don't get it done now I won't be able to do it for at least 3 months (I'm guessing).
PLUS.....I have to finish getting all my paperwork together for my tax accountant!  I must overnight them on Weds the very latest!  Should have sent them last week.  YIKES
Pressure...........stress...........lions, tigers, and bears.....OH MY!!!!!!

Well I'm off to Lowes again for more supplies.

One good thing I'm so worried about everything around the house I don't have time to worry about the surgery....

Hi Ruth
I am beginning to feel the same way, nothing is done, and I have to work (no back up)
still want to go to the gym.  I was also thinking that it is a way not  to think  about not being able
to use my arms for a while.
my hospital does not let you know what time to go into the hospital until the day before.
I am now wondering should I do this, the what if.

I just want Wednesday to come and go already.

Best wishes on your surgery, I guess I see your email by the weekend

Hi Ruth,

You are so smart to be keeping yourself busy so you don't worry about the surgery. I hope I remember to do the same thing when I'm ready for my reconstructive surgery.

I totally feel your pain! I'm a week away from my brachio/LBL and I already feel overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I want to get done before surgery. This is my first PS and I'm not sure what to expect as far as how I will feel and what I will be able to do after so I'm trying to think of everything now. I'm trying to remember to just take a deep breath and prioritize. Easier said than done! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Best to you on your surgery!

I remember my first round of plastics.....it was almost exactly 1 year ago....

I have details on my experiences  and pos-op recovery you can read my blogs if you want to.  (if you can't see them you might have to ask to be a "friend" I'm not sure...)

Best wishes on your plastic surgery journey

I agree with Susan - you are lucky to have other things besides your surgery to occupy your thoughts. I am 62 days away from mine - I am packed, have all my post op vitamins & drinks on the counter, links to compression garments that I will buy when I get home (I get garments with the surgeries) . . . . . .

Let's see - schedule the dogs to go to their baby sitter for 2 weeks while we are in Costa Rica, did tha taxes (that's how we paying for this!!), I have had my teeth cleaned, have the house keeper coming the day we leave, etc.

So for me - all I think about is MY PLASTIC SURGERY!!
