A Letter To My Drains....
Dear JP Drains,
You suck! Or rather, you don't and that's the problem. You, on the left have never been much use to me - you just sit there and look kinda nasty. You are only fun for scaring away the people who say, "lemme see your drains" I pull you out with all your chunky clotty glory and that stops the questions fast. You have also managed to ruin everyone around me's taste for Hawaiian Punch.
You on the right, you used to suck so well! Now you dont yet you somehow manage to leak around the bottom and soil EVERY pair of sweat pants own - thanks - alot.
Both of you tug and burn, and sting even when Im not moving and I know that you AREN'T tugging!
You may both go to hell...
Sincerely,
Emerging Beauty
Okay - silly little note- but these drains got me depressed. I can deal with the yuck - factor - but the burning, tugging etc no matter what I do is beyond annoying. If I had to tell you right now the most painful part of this surgery (abdominoplasty, boobs, and lipo) I owuld have to say it's the drain sites for me.
Tell me Im not the only one happy to see these things go???

The beauty of a woman is not seen through what she wears. It is seen through how she carries herself and the way she doesn’t allow herself to settle. Don’t ever let anyone take for granted the beauty that is within you. Stand firm and know that you’re a wonderful person. Always remember your value and respect yourself. I’m so blessed to have you in my life. Sometimes we all need to be reminded how special we really are!

Yes, the drains were the worst part for me too. Mine never lost suction and only one started to leak at the entry point the day before Dr. Lo removed them...but I STILL hated them. They were a general pain in the ass. I was very happy to see them go...and boy does it feel weird when they pull them out...I thought there would only be like a few inches of tube in me... not an entire garden hose reel of it!! (OK, so that is a little exageration...but it was WAY longer than I thought!)
