You would contact the plastic surgery department at a Medical School or hospital where they have a resident training program. I do not see a medical school listed for OK but if you will tell me what state are you close to I can send you some info? There are medical schools with plastic surgery resident training programs in states all around you. Bear in mind that just because they have a resident training program it does not necessarily mean they have a lower cost option or will accept insurance -- but it is certainly worth a telephone call to find out what is available. I think our very own Dr. Lomonaco works with the Baylor program in Tx.

Yes I had medicare cover mine but they only cover for medical necessary guidelines, I also have blue cross ins, so now blue cross goes by the Medicare rules for me. My surgeon also helped in finishing my hernia repair so he is a PS that did my panniculectomy last week. I also had a problem with boils during the summer months . I know that if your panus hangs below or at?? it is medically needed to. also you can call plastic surgeons and ask if they will see you I was surprised at the ones in my area that said oh yea we will see you, but I drove 3 hrs away to be with my previous doctor.so check out your options just like Red says call around.. I did because I did not know for sure if my doctor so far away would be in network? and yes finally he was , but I knew who I was going to go visit I had 2 of them in mind.. congratulations on you huge amount of weight loss!!!
