Did anyone loss any weight due to having an Inner Thigh Lift?
My thighs are swollen but not nearly as bad as I expected. My abdomen is what is swollen but that may be a combination of the lipo on my abdomen and one of my upper outer thighs to even it out better. I didn't need lipo in my inner thighs so that was good. I did have lipo on my knees and that was a little sore but nothing horrible. Most of that soreness and bruising is gone now.
Yes I am feeling MUCH better! I haven't had pain in a few days which is great. I'm much more mobile even if I do walk like I have a diaper rash every once in a while! LOL It's those darn incisions that are right in the crease and the groin that makes me do that. There is one little area that is red that I'm keeping an eye on. Since it's right at the crease it stays warm which causes it to be moist. You have to keep your legs apart to help dry that area out. I was out a lot today and did lots of walking for the first time and I'm really tired. I was at a birthday party earlier and tried really hard not to look like I just had surgery. I was walking normal so that was good. I didn't wear my arm bandages so I wouldn't look like I was walking like an ape. It worked because no one even noticed anything different. My sisters were the only ones that knew and they said I was looking better than I had been.
I'm glad the worst is behind me!

I'm so glad to hear you are doing so much better and so quickly. Happy for you and it gives me hope that after about 2 weeks I could be feeling better good.
Hope things continue to progress nicely for you.

I'm curious....since you are so newly post-op do you already see results...I mean do your thighs already look smaller?
Thanks!
Thanks!
They said they cut a pound and a half of skin off my thighs but the scale hasn't agreed. I can tell a huge difference in my thighs though. It was all skin, no fat that was removed.I have the long scars and have had some issues with healing in spots but I am so glad I did it. I already had scars from knee replacement so I can handle the scars for smaller thighs.

I like your attitude about the scars! I need to come to terms with the scars I'll have...I'm still a little worried about it.

Hi Robin,
Definitely let me know how you are doing post op.
Are you starting to get nervous? I'm just starting to have a little nervousness...I figure by Monday I'll be a basket case..LOL then it usually calms down again.

I'm just so busy and distracted. My grandfather passed away on Thursday so it's been kind of a blur the last few days. I hope to get some things done tomorrow afternoon. I'll be gone for 12 days so I have to pack myself and my 3 kids, grocery shop for when they get home, and try to get 2 weeks worth of work in 3 days! Needless to say I've been thinking very little about the surgery itself - which is probably a good thing. I'll keep you in my thoughts on Friday and give post-op updates when I can.

Robin,
So sorry to hear about your grandfather!
My surgery is this coming Thursday, when is yours?
We are surgery sisters and have to keep each other posted....
I've been busy trying to get lots of yard stuff done before I go in because there is no way I'll be outside weeding after this...probably for at least 10-12 weeks.
I'm just starting to spend more time thinking about the surgery instead of thinking about getting ready for it. I've only got today, mon and tues to get ready because I'm leaving Weds night.
My sympathy goes out to you and your family for your loss.
Best wishes on your surgery...I'll be thinking of you. Let me know the exact day you are in surgery.
