Hi,
I'm curious if anyone lost any weight due to having an Inner Thigh Lift (long incision...groin to knee)?
I have a lot of skin/tissue I believe will come off and think between the two legs it should weigh at least 5 lbs. I'm basing that on my first brachio with what the surgeon took off I think he said it was about 2 or 2.5 lbs total...I'm thinking twice as much for the legs.....
ANYHOW if you lost any (even a couple) lbs that stayed off due to the inner thighs being reduced please let me know.
Thanks a bunch

Ruth, I'll be anxiously following you. I had a lower body lift 3 years ago, but still really am troubled by the loose, baggy upper inner thighs. I was reading up on it and what I read talked about just a groin incision. I thought no way could they get rid of all of my loose skin without at long inside incision. Sorry, not the answer you were seeking!

Hi Karen!
For me I've always known I would need the loooong incision. I carried most of my weight in my legs and butt so it was inevitable.
From everything I've read and been told by the wonderful ladies on this forum this is the "worst" one....nothing like saving the best for last...LOL
Have a great day Karen!

I lost weight after my thighs and arms. I was 152ish at the time of surgery...got down to my low of 136 but I gained a bit back and our surgeon said I probably would. I'm now at 140 and seem to be hanging there. Remember he'll lipo your thighs as well as removing the extra skin so that takes even more off.

Hi Renee,
I didn't realize they were doing lipo until my pre-op last week.
I haven't given myself time to think about the lipo yet...I think I'm mentally blocking it because I worry about the pain from it and the added swelling. I never had lipo on my tummy, butt, back or anything and everyone who does says it makes them swell more and it hurts more. I had Lipo done on my arms and that is still numb since last August! So I'm a chicken about lipo!
Hey if you dropped about 12 lbs after the thighs/arms I'm hoping I can drop some. I believe my legs are much heavier/saggier than yours...I hoping for about a 5 lbs drop if it's more than that then I'll be back down to the weight I was in my mid 20's which I thought was totally out of reach. I won't get too excited about that happening....after all it's just a number on the scale and I'm at a healthy weight/BMI as it is so anything else will just be gravy (see I still bring it all back to food...LOL)

How about inches.....do you know how many inches you lost on your thighs? I'm really more interested in losing inches than lbs....did you measure before and after? I'm going to do all my before measuring and pictures in a few mins....

That sounds exciting! Hopefully smaller pants will fit over my butt! LOL
I didn't even ask how much he took off of my thighs. I had more taken off my arms than my thighs I think. I'm not really expecting to lose much other than the 4 pounds taken off my arms. This surgery did not affect my appetite unfortunately! It will be a while before I know what the final numbers are due to the swelling that will be around for a while due to the lipo.

So how bad is the swelling? If I remember right you had it pretty bad after you TT...
Is your swelling staying in the leg area or moving to other areas ?
Did you have lipo on your inner thighs? Man I'm thinking that must hurt!
Hope you are feeling better and able to move around a bit easier now.
