I was off for 4 weeks w/ my LBL & brachio and I have a desk job. Personally I don't think 2 weeks will be enough time due to your job. I was wore out by the end of the day and I was sitting at a desk, you're going to be on your feet all that time. Also, do you have someone else who will do your shampoos, rinse perms, etc. Also just from my previous experience as a hairdresser you tend to raise your arms quite a bit while cutting, rolling perms and putting on color and that could pull on your incision. I was just starting to walk upright at 2 weeks out. Try this, hunch over and then raise your arms like you would be doing a service on a client, does that pull at the waist a little. Another concern would be raising the chair using the foot pump, again probably too much stess on the abs and incision at only 2 weeks out. Just my opinion, others may think differently.
Best wishes to you.

thank u for all of ur opinions....i have told my customers that if i cant come back i will have to move their appts.. so hopefully they will be gracious enough not to get pissy. I had a c section and went back after two weeks so i guess that is why i was thinking that i could do it.. i guess i will just have to see.. i am also scheduled to have my ba/bl on 4/30 so was hoping to get some customers done before that operation...
