Yet Another Implant Question ~
I have been a b-flat all my life.
I am scheduled for a BA & I want D's. I lost almost 95 pounds (through diet).
Actually, to be very specifc I want:
Mentor - smooth round silicone gel - size D - placed under the muscle with just an areola incision. (ni lolly po cut) I asked my PS & he said he can do all of that - except he uses Euro-silicone implants from France. Cool!!
I just read that somtimes the skin can be too thin & you "loose" the implant. I don't think my skin is thin at all. Plus - I'm having is done under the musce.
So, has anyone had any issues going for a full D?
Many thanks!!
One problem that can arise with larger implants is that they can shift laterally. There are different issues to be taken into consideration. It depends on how lax your skin is, how much skin you have and actual breast tissue you already have. I am a full D with saline under the muscle implants. Mine have shifted laterally and I'm going in for a revision. My surgeon says it's a procedure to tighten up my pocket. It will involve suturing down the outside of the pocket to help the implant sit more medial. My breasts look perfectly normal in a bra but without a bra they tend to shift a bit towards my arms. My surgeon feels confident that he can fix it and I'm confident that he can. Worst case senario is that I'll have to downsize implants if for some resason the revision doesn't work.
