That's a big difference. I know you will love being free of that extra skin! My new belly button is also very small and nothing like my old one. I'm still getting used to it.

Hi Denise , your  pix looks great.
BB is a personal thing, I would only have it done if I was having revisions . I had the works done  and I am 57 and I just love my new body

You really look great! The results will only get better with time once the swelling goes down.

First of all let me congratulate you on your new body. WOW! You look great and I am sure feel so much better already. I am so glad I was checking this site out today. I have been searching every where for pics of tummy tucks done where the belly button was not put back. I am awaiting insurance approval now for a panni (as of 03-16-10) so to keep the belly button would be an out of the pocket expense. So, I have been trying to imagine what is would look like. I definitely will not be wearing a bikini. You do look great and again congratulations!!

Hi Denise,

At such a young stage post-op, you look good.  I know that you feel good to have that extra skin off.  I can't say much about the belly button - I do have one although it's the tiniest one that I've seen so far.  My ps who did my panniculectomy thought that it was too small from the start and said that he would revise it.  But when I asked him about a revision to it about 8 months later, I didn't get a good feeling about his answer.  Another ps looked at it, and thought that it didn't look bad.  Personally, I would have liked for it to be slightly larger and look more normal sized.  Oh well, it's there, and at 56, I'm not going to be wearing any bikinis either.  :)

Prayers for continued successful healing for you.

Blessings,
Rose

Thanks a million for sharing your pics.  I am scheduled for end of April.  I am guessing that my image and your pre-image are comparable, so I am jazzed!  Congratulations to you.  May my results be as impressive as yours.  Continued blessings on your healing....

update !! went to doctor today pulled both the drains( YEA!) but I do have some redness and will be on some antibiotics. I will take pics next week and I was also told by the PS today I am done He thinks it would be a risk to have anything else revised ..I have alot of scar tissue and he told me he was not aggressive due to my healing with the hernia (wound vac etc) so I would rather be defiantly safe than sorry! thank you everyone and I will see ya next week!!
