Well it's almost time again.....
I'm having what should be my last big procedure next Thursday. By this time next week I might be sitting in recovery (I have an early morning time slot).
I'm finally going to have my Inner Thighs done... I carried most of my weight in my thighs and butt so I'm anxious to get this done. This will be the loooong incision and I expect he'll have to take it all the way to my knees. I know my surgeon usually stops about 1/2 way down the leg but I have a lot of saggy skin and it bunches up at my knees so if I'm going to go through all of this I'd rather he take the incision lower and get rid of it all. He'll decide what is best once I'm on the table and I totally trust him and his judgment. I just can't wait to see those immediate results. I remember how great it was seeing my tummy flat for the first time...I'm hoping to have the same reaction.
I'm not nervous (yet). I've got a lot to get done by this weekend...I suspect come Sunday/Monday I'll be getting nervous but for now I'm just in "getting ready mode".
I'm also going to have a revision done on my arms. This will be the 3rd time messing with the arms but the first time this surgeon is touching them and again I have faith in him and believe it will be the final time and I can finally say my arms are done. (my first surgeon left me with way too much skin so it's getting re-done).
While I'm there and "under" he will do a small revision to the top of the tummy tuck incision...he's a perfectionist and wants to straighten it out plus there is a small dogear up there so that will be taken care of too.
I am worried about recovery. I understand it is painful and really limits mobility. I'm normally up and around pretty quick...normally back to doing all the cooking and starting housework by day 4 or 5 the latest so I'm trying to prepare myself ( and Matthew) that I may need more help than usual and he may need to take care of things a little longer (Wish us luck!).
Has anyone had a total revision to an area (like arms)...how did the scars come out? I'm worried about cutting the same area again.
Well if anyone has anymore tips for my recovery especially with the inner thighs please share.
Thanks for the advice you've already shared and for all the support. I can't believe I'm this close to the plastic surgery finish line.

Hi Susan,
You know with every surgery I've had you've been right before me or right after me....do you want to join me in this round???LOL!!!!
I'm not looking forward to the pain in the groin area but this too shall pass. Thanks for all the input you've given me.
