Returning to Work with Swelling & Seromas ~ OH MY!!
I work in an office - I supervise 36 employee's & taking 4-5 weeks off will be rough.
In reading about some of the issues that we have following plastic surgery - ie) swelling, seromas, infections, drains, etc. Are you all able to go to work?
I can NOT work from home (too bad) and most of my work is done at a desk - so not too much lifting - once I get my lap top docked.
So - how many of you have returned to work - even with issues? I think this alone is what is keeping me awake at night. That and haivng to pull on nylons after a TT.
Thanks so much!!

I, too, have a desk job....I went back to work after 2 1/2 weeks and I started off part time the first week (4 hour days). I still had a drain in that I had to manage. Even now at 6 weeks post-op I deal with the swelling, wear the binder garment everyday. I felt 100 times better once the drains were out. Are you only having a tt? I had a BL and TT plus some back fat removal. I was fine. If I had to stay home for 4-5 weeks it would have been too much for me.....Good luck!
