Pre and Post TT and Panni Pics Posted
Can you please help me? I had a huge panni taken off of me about 3 weeks ago. How long ago did you have your panni surgery? I often feel more pain now than I did in the hospital! How long does it take to recover? How long before the pain actually starts to get better? I feel so alone in this because I don't know of anyone elso who has had it done. The pain often makes me scared! Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and God bless.
Do you see the glass as half empty or half full? I say, what difference does it make--I paid for a full glass,so either way I am getting jipped!!!
I had the muscle tightening with mine and that was 8 months ago. I never experienced any pain beyond the normal post op pain and discomfort. I remember having a burning stinging sensation along one side of my incision the first few days but the pain pills helped with that. When I mentioned it to my surgeon he said it would go away and it did. Is yours more of a soreness like you did tons of situps? That's kind of what the soreness feels like. I would think by 3 weeks you really shouldn't be in true pain but just soreness and discomfort but nothing unbearable. Are you still taking pain pills? If not, I would definitely call your doctor and run it by him. You want to be sure the pain isn't from something else also. Maybe you overdid it somehow which can cause the pain to flare up again.
Thanks for your reply. I have a severe sensitivity to pain meds. I am especially allergic to Tylenol, so anything like Percosett and Viccodin are out of the question, and I am on blood thinners so I can't take Motrin Asprin, Advil etc eather. I have Dilaudid for pain, (a narcotic) but it sometimes makes me nauseous and vomit. I am really at a loss as far as pain meds go. Most of the pain is severe soreness in the incision area above my pubic area, but I had a hernia removal too, and it often hurts like the hernia is still there. This recovery is very uncomfortable! My incision often times feels like it is going to tear open. The soreness and pain feel allot like my hernia is still there in my belly button. ( I no longer have a belly button.) I don't know what "over doing it" means because my surgeon said I can walk around and stuff like I normally would (just no heavy lifting) and if I fel pain, to sit down. The problem is, the pain often takes hours to subside, and the pain is sometimes present when I am just sitting at home. Ugh! I can't wait for this recovery thing to get over with! Anyone have a time machine!?

You look amazing!!!! I can't believe the difference. I am at about 205 right now and my tummy looks very similiar to your. With the bulge above the belly button, I was sure I would need an anchor cut when the times comes, but after seeing yours, I don't think so anymore.
How long were you at 204 before the surgery? I seem to be stuck right around 205 and I wonder if this is it for me until I get plastics done.
Thanks for posting your pictures! And again, you look AMAZING!!!
