I was in the hospital last week and had an endoscopic procedure while there.  The guy in the recovery bed next to me was calling for the waitress to take his order.  He was at the IHOP!

Cracked me up!

It's not how fast you go, but that you're moving in the right direction!

Oh, that's a good one!  By the way, if that waitress does ever show up, I'd like green eggs and bacon please.  Thanks!

Well I woke up from anesthesia around 5pm, so the surgi-center was closing and they were transporting me via ambulance to another facility.  I think I talked the EMT's ear off about the type of work i had done (TT and BL) and that I couldn't believe that they had lifted me up onto the stretcher, bc when I was twice my size they wouldn't be able to do it....I think I cried too about having lost so much weight....I was an emotional wreck....but I don't recall thinking I was at the IHOP...that is too funny!!!

Hi Courtney!  I know that feeling of waking and wondering how they lifted me to put me in the garment and move me too!  Then I saw pictures of where the surgeon stands to do the surgery and that gave me a whole other dimension of embarrassment to worry about!
Hope you are recovering well now.

That is too funny! I can honestly say I don't remember waking up. I guess the drugs they give me really throw me for a loop and affects that part of the memory. I can vaguely remember the nurse helping me to get dressed and being wheeled out to the car,  but I don't remember the ride home. It's all kinda foggy.

I hope you have a speedy recovery, Cindi. You'll love the new arms and bewbies!

Thanks Renee - your posts are awesome!  My twin sister has been with me with this surgery and she is so excited abuot my new cup size.  She's been a DDD all her life, and I've been an A cup all my life!  She wanted me to go up to D at least, but I think if I'd gone up higher than a mid C cup I'd be hurting people!  Today I spilled my lunch on my chest.  I'm just not used to having boobage there yet.  I'm happy with the results so far - I'm just going to have to launder my binder, garment, and shirts more often, ha!

How funny!
I don't remember anything about waking up in recovery after my plastics......I'm always amazed to find myself arriving at the aftercare facility and not knowing how I got there!  I will ask the nurse next week to let me know if I say anything when I have my next surgery.  Knowing me it would probably be food related.....

Oh yeah, for me it's always about the food!  I wouldn't be suprised if you jumped off the operating table singing "She's a Brick House"!  You've had way more work done than myself, and I am amazed at how fast you seem to recover and start the next.  Good luck next week!

Thanks!!!

I don't know how some folks have many procedures at one time...like TT, Butt Lift/Outer Thighs, Breasts, and Arms all at once.  I couldn't do that.
I try to stay healthy and load up on protein pre-post surgery so I think that helps with my recovery.
I'll be very happy when I'm all done and scars have faded.
