I got a sneak peak at my PS's work

Well, I had my pre-op appt today in preparation for my AL, TL and Upper body lift next Friday.  In the process of getting dressed for work this morning, I had a freak accident and ended up with a deep gash/cut above my left eyebrow.  I cleaned the wound and put some gauze and a huge bandaid over it and went to work.  Of course, everybody was staring and wondering what happened so I told them that I went to a bar the night before and got into a fight and got hit over the head with a beer bottle....LOL!  Of course that's not true but they are kinda nosey so I had to make the story sound interesting.

Anyway, I get to the PS office and he immediately asked what happened and I told him the truth.  He said "let me do your pre-op consult first and then I'll take care of that cut for you".

He put 6 stiches in my eyebrow (OUCH) and you can barely tell.  It just looks like I have really thin eyebrows now.  He is going to remove the stiches next week when I go in for my plastic surgery.  He did an excellent job!!  I am thrilled that I kinda got a sneak preview of his work and his bedside manners because he was sooooo caring.  Best part of the whole ordeal is he said he wasn't even going to charge me for the stitch up!!!!

He's over charging you on the surgery so trying to make amends.  It is like me taking my Corolla in on the recall and got a coupon for a free oil change!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Im just curious since you say this - have you ever met this surgeon? Im thinking probably not. Because I honestly dont beleive he overcharges on his work at all. And he very much IS just that caring that he would do that for her.
He's an artist - a perfectionist and at  least to me - seems to have a very kind heart.
Just sayin'

EB,

That was not meant to be taken seriously!  I've had various Doctors over the years that have done minor things and not bill me or my insurance when they did.  Been to some that were price gouging SOB's too!

TRUE.....VERY TRUE!  I have been on numerous consults and received soooo many estimates over the last 8 1/2 years that I have been on this journey......he is definitely NOT overcharging me!

Who's your surgeon?  Did I see Dr. Lo as in Lomonaco in Houston or is there really a Dr. Lo?  I saw a few previous posts that you were using Baylor's program.  Just curious for future reference.

I think you may have hit upon a sneaky way for all of us to test our surgeons ahead of time! Then again, if they stink, we're left with a Frankenstein head! LOL.
