leaking
sorry, i don't have an answer. I had my anchor cut TT, BL/BA, arms, medial thigh on 2/2. I leaked very little when the TT drain came out at 3 weeks and the hole closed over real quick (less than 8 hours was closed) . . . but now the swelling is terrible. Here are some ((((((huggggs)))))) . . .

Aloha Linda-
I'd check with your surgeon quickly ( not 911 emergency but my point is--- better sooner than later). I had 7 drains in initially, they were removed over the next 12 days, but none drained enough to even moisten a bandaid once they were pulled. My doctor does not use compression garments afterwards, nor did I have any issues with swelling. In my work , we put drains in pets all the time, and I'd feel something was amiss if there were still drainage from one of my patients a week after pulling their drains. If you are being crazy overactive, or bled alot at time of surgery, then maybe I could see it but if that was the case they'd probably have left the drains in.
What amount was draining when they were pulled? Mine were all less than 10cc/24 hours by the time we pulled them.
Good luck- XOXOLori
