Just want to reassure you that being nervous is normal. I always get that way before surgery.
I had LBL, Anchor cut TT, thighs, arms, eyes and lower face lift and have had no complications.
Be sure to get in your vitamins and protein after to assist with healing.  You may not have an appetite after surgery but protein is essential for wound healing.   Listen to your body afterward and give it rest when it wants rest.  Sending good thoughts your way.   Lin

I am scheduled for Panni, TT with muscle tightening, and lipo and I am so nervous. I couldn't sleep last night and its been on my mind all day. I thought I would be excited at this point but I'm not. I keep reading about all the posts on this board about pain, infections, etc. It would be great to hear some reassuring words from those who've had good experiences. Thanks
I was never nervous....just very excited about having it done and wanted to get it over with and move on with the healing process. I just accepted the fact and was ready for lots of pain afterwards. To my surprise....it was VERY tolerable and I had very little pain. Like someone else said....it felt like "bruising". I had someone stay with me one night. I only had problems getting out of the recliner the day after i came home. Other than that, it was just like sore muscles, have to be careful sitting and standing. Didn't take very much pain medicine at all, I think maybe about 4 or 5 days. I slept in the recliner for several days and on the couch a day or so, now I can finally sleep in my bed fairly comfortable, the last 2 nights. I had TT, BL, and BA Feb 24th, 2 weeks tomorrow. All in all I am amazed at how LITTLE pain I actually had.
