If I go to the emergency room, it is covered under insurance, but you're right, if I feel i have to go and get checked out, that's totally worth it! I am going to see how this drain goes, and if I have anything that remotely looks or feels like a seroma, I am going to go!
Hi Cassandra ~
Do you have a primary care doctor that you could see? Did you have anyone set up locally to support you in case soemthing happened?
When you get to your new place you should get a new PCP who will support with all this.
How is it going without the drain? Do you feel okay? Who ended up pulling the drain?
I'm glad you're drain free!!

Yes, I have seen my PCP, and he's great, but he's just not a plastic surgeon, so I don't think he's got a lot of experience with this.
And yes, when I relocate, I will find a new PCP... :)
And the drain seems ok...leaking a bit, but nothing major, no wet pants or anything! Doing good so far, and it even looks like the hole has started to close up in one day!
My best friend pulled the drain, she pulled the last two also. :)
