Smoking - Please don't reply unless you are / were a smoker. I know it's a nasty habit and...

How soon before Panniculectomy surgery or any other plastic surgery did you quit or did the surgeon make you stop?

My surgeon said 30 days...but I had already quit before then.  I don't know why I finally did after 20+ years of smoking and MANY MANY failed attempts to quit, just one day I got tired of doing it!

Cassandra,

Thank you for your honesty. I know that it is tough to admit this when you have hecklers like "Charming". It must be difficult to be so perfect.

I do truly appreciate this.

Thank you

I would never mock someone for smoking.

It is incredibly generous of you to fund American agricultural interests, advertisers, and the medical industry -- even at the expense of your own health.  And what would we do without those exhorbitant taxes you pay!

Light up!

Wow Charming,

With all that weight loss it's surprising you still sound like an angry fat girl. Must be all of those years alone collecting rocks and apparently having no friends. I bet you were the nerd with no prom date. How sad for you....

LOL @ U, lbaa!!!

Guess I struck a nerve, ehhhhhhhh?

You're right.  I must have been the sad, nerdy, lonely child sitting all alone by myself, playing with dustbunnies.

Instead of with the cool kids, smoking ... and yacking up a lung, years later, unable get by without the number-one byproduct of capitulating to worthless peer pressure.

C'mon, babydoll ... light one up.  Light up two!  Light the whole pack!!!  Mmmmmmmm ....
you know you want to ...

They say that images advocating smoking as "dangerous" tend to make smoking seem more appealing, instead.  So, I'm sending one along -- and you decide which way you wanna take it:

Hope you get your surgery -- whatever it is.  It's wasted on you, if you're a smoker -- but hey,  the New York Times reports that there were 30% fewer plastic surgeries performed last year than in 2007 -- and doctors need all the financial support they can get.

My goodness -- you're popular, and truly generous to a fault!

Here's one more image to remind you how totally kewl and sexy-hott smoking is:

I quit smoking 2 and a half years ago and it was one of the hardest addictions to overcome.

This message is just the epitome of nastiness, Charming.  I'm kind of surprised that you'd post such a thing to someone who is struggling with trying to quit, honestly.  It wasn't directed at me, but I still found it hurtful. I still have to remind myself daily that I am a nonsmoker and want to remain that way.
