Question... TT and Lipo
I had a TT and Lipo done on my sides! I've got some hard areas where the lipo was done and my doc says that it's normal... that it's dead fat tissue and it's going to slowly go away. I just wanted to see if there is anyone else out there that's gone through the same thing!
About compression garmets/binders... Can anyone send me links to where they purchased theirs bc the ones my doc provides are expensive!
Thanks,
Subrina

I had a spot on my thigh that was hard after my MTL. My surgeon also said it was a piece of dead fat that was dislodged during surgery that would go away over time. He was right, a month or so after surgery it did go away which I was happy w/ since it was a very tender. Not sure on the binder since my surgeon's office bought it and it was on when I woke up from surgery so not sure where they got it.
try
www. marenagroup.com,
they run about 55.00, , i use the flexees from kohl's but only after 8 weeks, the compression garments are tighter and with the lipo you really want the skin to be tight up against the muscle, . I paid for my lipo & TT out of pocket and I know they are not cheap but the garment was lot cheaper then the surgery

I am very happy! The results are immediate and I love it! I didn't have much pain or anything! I'm a respiratory therapist and I work in a hospital, so I know what surgery can do to you! Just be sure that you get up and start walking as soon as you get out of surgery! I stayed over one night, but I made then take the cath out so I would have to get up to use the restroom! Moving is what most people lack and if they would just walk... even if it's super slow, it's a saving grace! After about 2-3 days, I was completely mobile without clumsiness and 1 wk post op I was back to myself again! I will post some pics in my profile so you can go look at them! I still have some swelling, but I'm slowly getting there!
