Face-Lift Pictures
Have to tell'ya, the bandages, as far as I'm concerned, have been the worst part of the surgery. As a result of the way they were placed around my eyes, I pretty much had to look straight ahead at all times; otherwise, the edge of the bandage came up so high that they made contact with my lower eyeball when I looked down. Consequently, looking down to read, sew, or anything else was just not comfortable, so I have just about died from boredom.
Though I'm not a workaholic, I have a pretty demanding job and stay on the go, so this sudden halt in lifestyle has been absolutely brutal. It's really made me re-think retiring. I may just wor****il they're kicking dirt in my face. LoL
Fortunately, all bandages, sutures, and staples came out today so I'm back up running. Next Thursday the two screws that were placed in the top of my head will come out, so once that happens all the hardware that was placed will be gone.
Right now everything feels kind of weird because of the numbness, but I understand that this will subside as time passes. Can you give me any insight into how that's gone for you?
I was going to post an updated picture; however, the battery in the camera needs to be recharged so it'll be sometime tomorrow before I get that loaded.
As far as the "work" underneath all the swelling, bruising, and redness, I'm also thinking it's looking pretty good.
I told my husband it's like looking at an old house under renovation. You have to look beneath all the cracks and flaws to see the beauty of the design. LoL
I was looking at your pictures and have to say that you are absolutely stunning. If my results are anywhere close to yours, I'm going to be thrilled.
