Last minute question for arm lift folks

What did you where those first few days?  I was thinking button down shirts but I really don't have any other than a couple of really nice ones I use for work.  Was it hard to get a regular tshirt on the first few days???  Gosh, I'm not sure what I should even wear to the hospital since I will be bandaged up everywhere.

Thanks,
Melissa

Hey Melissa, I just had my arm lift last tuesday and I went and bought two mens button down  short sleeved shirts from a thrift store to use to wear home from the hospital and to the hospital and the next couple of days. I also wore jogging pants for comfort. I went to the doctor today and it has been a week now and he said I am healing up real good and my arms look super. He used glue on them and I am really happy with them.  Good Luck on yours.  The only problem I had had is swelling in the evening and I am trying to keep them iced down with a package of frozen peas.

Hi
I wore button down pjs for the first 3 days Iven went to the PS office in Pjs. you could probably get the t shirts on but you wont be able to get them off yourself.

I wore  button down PJS to the hospital, but I came home in a hospital gown and my slippers
good luck  Susan

Nothing!   I had breasts done at the same time so I was wrapped from waist to fingers, but I think your best bet would be a large buttone up shirt.   Good luck!

I had a couple of pairs of pajamas and the tops buttoned down the front. Was much easier than trying to wrestle with anything over my head.

I guess I am the odd man out here.  I didn't wear a button down shirt till the 14th day because it was hard to get my arms in them.  I did however wear larger sized tee shirts and babydoll blouses.  They were easy to get over my head because they were 2 or 3 sizes bigger than I needed.  I didn't look like a fashion bug, but I wasn't really worried about that.

I'm w/ Lam, never wore button down shirts. I lived in XL t-shirts. Never had a problem getting them on or off. Maybe the key was how large they were. I wore my large T-shirt and yoga pants to the hospital w/ flip flops. Thank god it was summer cuz I'd be in real trouble if I did it during the winter. Dont think I'd want to or could have worn a sweater or sweatshirt.

I was told to wear a loose button down or zip up top.  No way I could get my arms up to get into a tee shirt the first week.... I lived in a zip up hoodie sweatshirt.  (got it cheap in Walmart on clearance for about $5.00!).

Best wishes

I plan on wearing my hubbies PJ (they button in the front) then zip up hoodies & sweat pants.

It's all about comfort!!

I wore a really loose knit camisole top as it stretched quite a bit to get on.  then I put on a zipped hoodie so my drains were shoved up the sleeve and didn't gross anyone out.
