Well it has been a long time since I posted back in 2008w? hernia repair. So I was informed the other day that I have a approval for Panni removal ( my stomach is a mess from complications with a wound vac etc..  WOW !! so my question is this  I do not think I am getting a belly button back, don't have one now either , and I don't think I will care . But I  hear  all the  things about a real TT verses a panni and I am now starting to think am I going to be happy or dissapointed. I am a 56 year old woman and have never had a flat tummy , so if there is any one who could  tell me there panni experiance I would love to hear or see some after pics they are hard to find
thanks guys !! I

I have struggled with your very situation...TT or just panni.  Your history sounds similar to mine...hernia repair, wound vac, complications...insurance approval.  I went to the first PS....wanted to do panni, plus the total body lift.  Then went for a second opinion, his advice was do only the panni and get the hernia repaired, with more later if desired.  I am almost 55.  This is all to say...get professional opinions they certainly helped me to make my decision to have just the panni removed, to reduce complications and dangers to my personal well being.  They have said to me every body is different and what it will look like afterwards is difficult to say and make a comparison with others outcomes is not the same.  Good luck with your decision.  I am scheduled for late April.

I had only the panni without muscle tightening. I did have my BB moved as well. My PS was fantastic!! Pictures are on my profile.

I slept in my recliner for about a week. After that I slept in bed with a pillow proped under my knees. The recovery process was not easy for me, but I LOVE the results. It has been 3 months now and I am still so thrilled :)
