How long were you off work?

It depends on what Doctor you go to. I just had a lbl and bl done at the same time. I am a bartender, took off 2 weeks...was fine. But, should have taken off 3 weeks to be safe. If you go to Dr. S in Mexico...all that can be done and you will have to stay like 11 days or maybe 14 even.

I had a TT with vertiical incision.  I also have a sedentary desk job - I could have gone back to work after 3 weeks, but took off 4.  I still can feel my stomach muscles when I stand up (they tighten), sneeze, cough, etc, and it doesn't feel good.  When I lift something somewhat heavy I can also feel them - I don't want to tear anything.  I'm 6 weeks out now.

You'll need at LEAST 6 weeks - I was told 4-6 just for the TT.

I did take FMLA for it.  The Dr filled out the paperwork, and I submitted it to my boss.

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months.

I have a desk job as well. I will be taking 4-6 weeks for my TT, arms & BA.

I will be taking a Medical LOA from my job - using short term disability to cover my time off. I spoke to my PCP - she will be completing all the paper work for me.

My husband is going to take FMLA to care for me for 4 weeks.

I am having thighs, arms and upper body lift done in a coupld of weeks and I'm scheduled to be off 4 weeks and using Short Term Disability.  Will more than likely do some work from home during weeks 3 and 4.  I have a desk job and only have to get up to go to copier, kitchen or bathroom,.

I had my tummy tuck, breast lift, augmentation, and lipo done 2/17.  It has only been a week and a half (will be 2 on Wednesday).  I am going back for a light day tomorrow.  I start back full force next week.  I had an infection a few days ago and was afraid of being readmitted, but it has healed up fairly quickly.  I have a lot of swelling and tire easily.  I am just one of those people who can't stand to take off (partially because I own my practice).  It is very difficult, but not impossible.  I'll let you know how I feel tomorrow!
Oh, and I have an 8 month old baby that weighs 18 pounds who I have cared for/ picked up a few times in the past couple of days.  It is very difficult to lift him!
