6 Weeks!

Tomorrow will be six weeks post-op for me.  I took some photos this morning and uploaded to my profile.  I'm very pleased with how the scars are looking.  Right now I'm exclusively using Scar Away strips on them.  I ditched the Scar Guard for now.  It's too messy.  I have some pics of my leg incisions but still have to do some modesty photoshopping on them.

I'm starting back with some light weight training next week.  I took the last two days off from cardio.  My intensity on Wednesday caused me from soreness.  No HIIT!  Lesson learned.  I'll wait a few more weeks for those kind of workouts.

thanks for your honesty and for the scarring pics.  I was so worried about the brachio scars - yours look great, so do you think the Scar Away is helping?
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

To put it simply, yes.

I've used the strips on my arms for nearly 4 weeks now.  They are especially easy to apply there so I didn't use the liquid treatment at all.  I was so impressed by the results on my arms that I started using the strips on my tummy as well.

I've learned that if I wash them (very gently) in only warm water I can make them last longer than 1 week.  The two I have on my main tummy tuck scar are going on two weeks now.

hi Mark
you arms look wonderful, you had great muscle tone in your arms before.
they are healing really nice.

I going to have my arms done in two week.  did you have lipo?
how long were you not able to use your arms?
be really careful and gradually go back to working out, you have internal stitches.

which was more painful the tt or the arms?

thanks

I was actually using my arms from almost day one to compensate for the pain of the small thigh lift.  The arms really only bothered me while the drains were in.

TT or arms?  TT by only a small margin.  Really neither one was very painful.

thanks for the kind words
