Hello again,
long story about my arms....I'll try to keep it short.
As I said with the brachio I was not happy so the surgeon agreed to do a revision. The plan was to do some lipo and remove the remaining excess skin. Well as they were getting ready to wheel me into surgery I was told they were only doing lipo. I should have gotten off the table but since I was dopey and already had tubes hooked up I wasn't thinking straight. Anyhow, he did lipo but now I have to have another revision to remove the wrinkled/saggy skin. (fyi - I switched surgeons after this and my new surgeon is fixing my arms when he does my inner thighs next month)
Yes the lipo did a good job (but I hate that I am still numb from it) but I'm not happy that I have pay for another arm procedure to remove the skin.....I swear 3rd time better be the charm!
Let me know if you have more questions...

I had my braccio a month after yours. My forearm on my right arm was tight and numb for a while, but is back to normal now. I went from 12" to 9.5" around my upper arm with no lipo.

There is a nerve called the Medial Antebrachial Cutaneous Nerve that runs along the inner, upper arm. If it is bruised, swollen, irritated, etc, there can be numbness of the area it supplies lower down on the forearm.
This topic was discussed on these boards before. Some PS feel that different brachioplasty incisions have a higher or lower chance of disturbing the nerve. I did an informal poll here and a few people answered questions about numbness in the forearm.
Here is a cross section diagram of where all te nerves live in the arm.

Bruising and swelling will resolve over time, and it could be weeks to months. Your PS is the best one to answer this question.
