Panni Removal

I am considering having a panni removal, but everytime I go to a surgeon's website, they only show before and afters of TT.  I am not interested in a TT, but I would like to see the results of the panni removal.  If any of you would be so kind to share your before and after pics if you had a panni removal only, I would greatly appreciate it.

Or if you know of some web pages that have some before and afters of panni removals only that would be great.  Thank you all for  your help.

The beauty of a woman is not seen through what she wears. It is seen through how she carries herself and the way she doesn’t allow herself to settle. Don’t ever let anyone take for granted the beauty that is within you. Stand firm and know that you’re a wonderful person. Always remember your value and respect yourself. I’m so blessed to have you in my life.  Sometimes we all need to be reminded how special we really are!

I am soo glad to see this post. I feel the same way. I have looked everywhere to see before and after pics. I too only want a panni. I sure hope some of you out there who have gone before us will share.

Well, unfortunately, because the surgeon who did my panni removal refused to do the mons lift (which I needed as much, if not more than the panni removal... the surgeon who did it 2 months later said it was the largest he had ever seen   ), I am not willing to share my pics (NO ONE but my PS and I have seen them!), but I can tell you that for me -- as for many -- once the excess skin below the waist was gone, it just emphasized the extra skin above the waist (and my bulging lax abdominal muscle across the middle).  I was not happy with that "muffin top" effect and ended up having the TT.

Note, however, that you CAN have extra skin above the waist removed without having the muscle tightened.  Not all PSs will do it (they mnake more $ on a TT), but many will.

Hi,
I have just the site for you.  I was with this PS today for a second opinion.  My first PS wanted to do the total belt lift...I wanted just the panni and a hernia repair, therefore, I went for the second opinion.  He did agree with my wishes, stating that we can always do more later, if I wish.  I am 55 and
realistic about my expectations of what I will look like afterwards and desire to use the extra costs towards my arms.  My insurance company will pay for the hernia and panni removal.  Since I have had some previous complications the PS and I agreeded that less would be best, leaving the door open for additional surgery at a later time.  I think everyone must decide for themselves what they are comfortable doing and what their expecations are BEFORE they enter into any surgery.  I hope this site helps you get an idea.  I appreciated this PS saying that most people have revisions even when they do it all at once.  Doing it in two steps still affords improvements on the first.

Blessings on your journey.

I had the panni removal.  I am very happy with the results.  I am older and don't care if I have a totally flat stomach.  But I look really good in pants and jeans now.  I don't really have a muffin top either.  You can figure out what it will be like if you realize the skin below the belly button will be tightened but that above will not.  I did not have that much above so a panni worked well for me.  Working the abs out helps wonders too.
