HEY ALL,

Iam a lurker here, but now im redy to start my plasic surgery quest...lol

im almost 6 months out, and 20 pounds away from goal, i kno i kno too soon...heres my story or rather my dilema...

i for sure wnt to have allthe plastic with dr.sauceda...no doubt about that, but i kno i have quite a ways to go...the only think im concerned about as of now is my arms...my arms are really bad, i had huge arms to begin with, and i have no fat left on them wat soever....im wondering if having a brachiplsty now would be reasonable? i kno i have to wait for the BL/BA, tummy tuck, but do i need to keep my weight stable for 6 months just for brachio?

any help suggestions would be greatly appreciated..=)

also one more thing? can anyone have a small arm lift? my arms arnt the biggest anymore, and i do have skin, but i think my ams would look ok with a small arm lift? i kno i def need somthing cuz they flap and its so embarrasing.....=(

My surgeon had no problem with doing my arms when I was still about 20 pounds from goal since it was pretty clear that VERY little of the 20 pounds could possibly come from my arms (and even if you experience a slight "bounceback" regain, it is unlikely to manifest itself in your arms)..

I didn't do my arms so I have no official answer, but the poster before me seemed to make a great deal of sense.  I have a friend who had arms and a complete body lift at 8 months out.  That was 2 years ago and since then he has worked out to build muscle and looks awesome!
Good luck!

Here's what my doc said about the mini - put your thumb in your under arm and pull the skin up - does it look ok? then mini might work. My doc says it really only treats the top 3-4 inches of your arm (from your pit) - if the 'problem area" is bigger than that, you will probably be disappointed in the results.

unfortunately if they 'flap' or really had any excess skin at all, most likely the best option is the full arm. It's really not that bad - I had it done and while I definately have the scars, my arms are wonderful now - tight and firm all the way to the elbow!  A mini (which I didn't have huge flaps before, just a bit bothersome to me) wouldn't have worked at all because it would have left excess skin on the lower 1/2 of my upper arms and it would have looked even worse than no surgery at all.

Hope this helps,

Cass
