I stayed 2 nights but only because I live so far from my surgeon...it was just easier than having to come back to have the drains removed (he took them out on my 2nd day).
I think the arms were difficult not because of pain but because I was so limited to what I could do....can't fully stretch them, can't reach anything on the top 2 shelves, couldn't even reach my head to shampoo my hair for the first week (I think it was that long).
Anyhow, you'll be fine.....not really painful but you should take your pain meds the first few days for sure then see how you feel..
I'll be thinking of you on Monday.

I must be the odd girl out. For me, my arms were 100X more painful than my TT. My TT was a walk in the park. I literally had very little discomfort, however my arms had a lot of discomfort and still don't feel like my arms. He removed 5 lbs from both arms combined. He lipo'd also to make them shapely. I think they are lovely and I love my new arms. But 10 weeks out I am still wearing my garment during the day because it feels better. Actually with the garment its 90% better. Without, the garment, they hurt and they still swell a lot. The garment keeps the swelling down.,

Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.
I'm pretty sure most PS weigh the skin they remove and they measure the fat removed per lipo. You're going with Dr Sauceda, right? If you ask him after your surgery how much he removed, he'll tell you. He does great work with arms. You'll love your results, but post lipo is very painful!

Things did not work out with Dr. S - I am going to CR for my work. I have heard that the lipo is quite painful & I am gearing up mentally for that.
I will ask my PS how much they removed.
Thanks!
