I second the Derma Blend, if you're willing to go into store that has it. It was designed for burn victims, to cover scars, and does not clog pores, or come off with sweat or high humidity, so it stays put.

I used to have a sinus condition that cause black circles under my eyes, that were actually as dark as having black eyes. Dermablend is the only thing that really covered the dark places well, and didn't crease of wear off.

Last week -- less than a week after my surgery -- it was free Grand Slam day at Denny's.  My sister and I decided a Grand Slam was just what the doctor ordered.  After we were seated a family was seated in the booth behind us.  They had a little boy that was really rambunctious.  At one point he leaned over into our booth and giggled and said hello -- before I realized what I had done -- I turned, smiled and said "good morning to you".  With that the kid got visibly pale and like a shot scrambled over his table to the other side of the booth -- which is where he was when we left.  My sister laughed and laughed.  It never occurred to me I would actually frighten the kid!
